Edible Manhattan Group commissioned me to illustrate a special spread for their 2021 winter edition. The challenge was to bring some spark to Simone Tong's picture, an important restaurateur from New York. Lori Pedrick (Art Director) asked directly for flowers from Yunnan, Simone's hometown.
